It’s that time of year to get ready for busy season and make sure that your salon is in top condition in preparation for the New Year. I have gathered a panel of experts from within the JK North America network to speak to some of the most important issues facing salon owners. First, I would like to introduce our experts, who combined, have over 55 years of experience within the indoor tanning industry.
Melissa Damiani is the Sales Manager of SunLync Software, Inc., a Member of the JK-North America group of companies. With the company since 2002, Melissa has served in several different capacities within the organization, and has extensive knowledge of all aspects required to develop robust salon management software solutions that are designed to enable measurable growth within its users’ ever-evolving business models. Earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Science from St. Bonaventure University, Melissa is dedicated to the innovative progression of highly scalable product lines and vast service offerings, in conjunction with the delivery of superior customer service, to ensure continued prosperity within SunLync’s valued customers’ businesses.
Kevin Hart is the Executive Director of Technology at JK North America, responsible for technical service, warranty, regulatory/safety compliance, and US research and development. Having begun his career in the United States Air Force as an aircraft systems analysist for six years before starting with the company in 1994, he has amassed a wealth of knowledge which he adds to and draws from daily. Kevin graduated magna cum laude from Arkansas State University with a BS in Manufacturing Technology, and holds several certifications in technology related fields. Kevin is very proud of what the team at JK NorthAmerica has accomplished in conjunction with their German counterparts, and is excited about continued innovation and technological advancements at JK North America
Bobby Wagner, Director of Sales for JK Light, with more than 17 years of hands-on experience in the tanning industry, Bobby has used his knowledge and expertise to help salon owners and managers increase sales and profits for their business. He is currently the director of sales for JK Light, the lamp division for JK North America, but has served in various roles within the company extending his ability to understand customer needs. His background at JK North America consists of manufacturing, customer service, and sales. His familiarity with all aspects of tanning gives him a better understanding of how to educate and guide salon owners on the best solutions on all of their salon needs.
